Washington Post: Winston Churchill “a mass murderer”

Finally some people at the Washington Post have some common sense to say things that are almost unprintable. The Post has recently published an article by Shashi Tharoor arguing that Churchill was indeed a mass murdering clown.
Tharoor, the author of the new book Inglorious Empire: What the British Did to India, begins his analysis by quoting Churchill himself. “History,” Churchill triumphantly declared, “will be kind to me, for I intend to write it myself.”[1]
Here Churchill just tells us that his six-volume work, The Gathering Storm, is a piece of propaganda. Those books only defend the imperialist and Jewish views that Churchill was pursuing.
Tharoor writes that “was one of the great mass murderers of the 20th century, yet is the only one, unlike Hitler and Stalin, to have escaped historical odium in the West. He has been crowned with a Nobel Prize (for literature, no less), and now, an actor portraying him (Gary Oldman) has been awarded an Oscar.”[2]
Churchill has received all those accolades because the Holocaust establishment has put him on the ideological throne. If a leader attacked Hitler during World War II, the unarticulated argument goes, then the leader must be good. Churchill attacked Hitler, therefore Churchill must be crowned as a savior.
Tharoor argues that there numerous British historians who are now arguing that Churchill ruined “the great work of time.” In fact, those historians have been saying for more than two decades that it was “a dreadful mistake” for the British to meddle in World War II.[3]
Tharoor makes the case that Churchill ought to carry some responsibility for the firebombing of Dresden. Incidentally, David Irving has been saying this for years and has been banned from “polite” people because he has documented uncomfortable things.[4]
Tharoor also points out that Churchill couldn’t give a damn about peaceful protesters in the fight for the Irish Independence. Churchill declared way back in 1920 that “airplanes should use ‘machine-gun fire or bombs’ to scatter them.”[5] Churchill again declared in 1921: “I am strongly in favour of using poisoned gas against the uncivilised tribes; it would spread a lively terror.”[6]
Poison gas? Well, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Tharoor writes that Churchill “ordered large-scale bombing of Mesopotamia, with an entire village wiped out in 45 minutes.”[7]
Churchill again told the Afghanistan that they “needed to recognise the superiority of [the British] race and that “all who resist will be killed without quarter.” This is Churchill at his best:
“We proceeded systematically, village by village, and we destroyed the houses, filled up the wells, blew down the towers, cut down the great shady trees, burned the crops and broke the reservoirs in punitive devastation. … Every tribesman caught was speared or cut down at once.”[8]
Churchill did almost the same thing in Kenya, where at least 150,000 people were placed in concentration camps. “Rape, castration, lit cigarettes on tender spots, and electric shocks were all used by the British authorities to torture Kenyans under Churchill’s rule.”[9]
Churchill eventually starved at least 4 million Bengalis to death in 1943!
Ladies and gentlemen, that is the kind of person that the Holocaust establishment and indeed Hollywood love and admire. Now you know why the establishment and all its media outlets do not want to even crack-open David Irving’s Churchill’s War.
